Notes

Take Note!

To make sure there are no air bubbles in the baking bag when pouring the mixture. Air bubbles can cause the paste to break apart and create an uneven ring shape when squeezed into the pan. Make sure to press out any air bubbles before using the baking bag to ensure the rings come out looking their best.
Common Mistakes!
  1. Overcooking the prawns: It's important to be careful not to overcook the prawns, as they can become tough and rubbery. Cook them just until they turn pink and are no longer translucent.
  2. Using too much oil: Using too much oil can make the rings greasy and heavy. Use just enough oil to lightly coat the pan.
  3. Not blending the prawns enough: To ensure that the prawn rings have a smooth texture, it's important to blend the prawns until they are very smooth.
  4. Using too much corn flour: Adding too much corn flour can make the rings dense and dry. Use just enough to bind the mixture together.
