Delicious lemon grass chicken wing recipe that’s perfect for family meals!
These chicken wings are so flavorful, thanks to the lemon grass marinade. You’ll love the fragrant and slightly spicy aroma that comes with every bite! Plus, this recipe is so easy to make – you don’t have to be a master chef to pull it off.
What about ingredients?
- 12 pieces of chicken wings
- 4 stalks of lemongrass, 2 for marinating and 2 for garnish
- 3 small onions, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of corn flour
- A pinch of white pepper
- 2 teaspoons of Baby Angel’s Homemade Shiitake Mushroom Powder for extra flavouful
How to make?
To begin, take 12 chicken wings and marinate them with above mentioned ingredients. Mix everything together and let the wings soak in the marinade for at least 1hour, best is 4 hours or more.
Once the wings are well-marinated, it’s time to cook them! Heat a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken wings and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Once the wings are done, plate them and garnish with cut lemon grass and some lime wedges for an extra zesty kick. Serve these lemon grass chicken wings with a side of steamed vegetables and a bowl of rice for a complete meal.

- Place the chicken wings in a large container or plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings and make sure they’re evenly coated. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hours, best is 4 hours. It can overnight then it would be better.
- Now , you can heat the non stick cooking pan , pour some oil and start to shallow fry until both side they are golden brown and cooked through
- You may garnish them with lemon grass . Some ppl like to add some lime juice. If you preferred a little sour taste , then you can add into it.
