- Add the carrot, zucchini, corn flour, and all the powders mentioned earlier for extra flavor and mix everything together.
- Pour the mixture into a baking bag and heat some oil in a pan.
- Pour the ready mixture into baking bag
- Squeeze the paste from the bag into the pan in the shape of rings. Fry the rings over low heat for 20-30 seconds on each side until they’re golden brown.
- low fire to fry for 20/30 seconds and flip them to fry for another side until golden brown.
- Once done, set them aside to cool and they’re ready to serve!
Common Mistake!
- Overcooking the prawns: It’s important to be careful not to overcook the prawns, as they can become tough and rubbery. Cook them just until they turn pink and are no longer translucent.
- Using too much oil: Using too much oil can make the rings greasy and heavy. Use just enough oil to lightly coat the pan.
- Not blending the prawns enough: To ensure that the prawn rings have a smooth texture, it’s important to blend the prawns until they are very smooth.
- Using too much corn flour: Adding too much corn flour can make the rings dense and dry. Use just enough to bind the mixture together.
Take Note!
To make sure there are no air bubbles in the baking bag when pouring the mixture. Air bubbles can cause the paste to break apart and create an uneven ring shape when squeezed into the pan. Make sure to press out any air bubbles before using the baking bag to ensure the rings come out looking their best.
